While we haven't tried it ourselves, you shouldn't have any problems
with using XSD/e on Tanden, at least in the minimal configuration.

Just take the standard configuration file, change the C and C++
compiler names/flags and then disable C++ features (e.g., STL,
exceptions, etc.) that are not supported on Tandem (or that are
not needed by your application).
