Hi,

We are pleased to announce the first release of XSDBench W3C XML
Schema Benchmark which compares the performance of validating XML
parsers. The following parsers are supported in this version:

 - Apache Xerces-C++ (C++)
 - CodeSynthesis XSD (C++)
 - Gnome Libxml2 (C)
 - Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) (C/C++)
 - Oracle XDK (C/C++)

Results for the following platforms and compilers are available:

 - GNU/Linux on AMD Opteron with GCC 4.1.2
 - Windows on Intel Pentium 3 with VC++ 7.1
 - GNU/Linux on Intel Pentium 3 with Intel C++ 9.1

More information on the benchmark architecture, results, as well
as the benchmark source code are available from the XSDBench home

Hi,

New benchmark results for GNU/Linux on IBM PowerPC 970MP with
IBM XL C++ 8.0 are now available:

The results compare the performance, executable sizes, as well as
peak heap and stack sizes for Xerces-C++ 2.7.0 and XSD 2.3.1.b1.
