Yes, for XSD, see the C++/Tree Mapping Customization Guide:

As well as the examples in the examples/cxx/tree/custom/ directory,
specifically, 'taxonomy'.

For XSD/e, see Section 4.9, "Customizing the Object Model" in the
C++/Hybrid Getting Started Guide.
