We don't officially support AIX 5.1 yet because we haven't had any
commercial interest in this platform.

Yes it is. It should work with any fairly standard-compliant C++ compiler.
I suggest you generate the code for one of the examples on Windows and try
to compile it on AIX with VA 6.0. If there are any compile errors please
let us know (by posting to this mailing list); we might be able to address
them.
